Why I built SaaSHa.
After 35 years as a designer, I watched an AI generate a brand layout in nine seconds. It wasn’t great — but it wasn’t terrible either. And I had a choice: compete with it, ignore it, or do something I hadn’t considered.
I realised the machine had infinite skill and zero judgment. It could make a layout, but it didn’t know why some layouts make you trust a company and others make you click away. That judgment — the thousand small decisions a designer makes without thinking — is what I’d spent three and a half decades learning.
So instead of guarding it, I poured it into a system. Every rule. Every “never do this.” Every “always do that.” So a business owner could get that judgment automatically — without the decades, or the day rate.
That’s SaaSHa. Not AI instead of a designer — a designer’s judgment, finally able to work for everyone at once.
